Why Elite HTS

Commercial-Grade Construction. Residential Comfort.

Most "luxury" theater seats are furniture-store recliners with cup holders. Elite HTS chairs are engineered for VIP public cinemas that run them all day, every day — and that is the version that goes in your home.

20-Year Warranty

Frame, recline mechanism and motor are covered for two decades — unusual in an industry where five years is considered generous. Upholstery and foam carry a 5-year warranty.

Made in USA & Canada

Every chair is built to order in Las Vegas or Vancouver by skilled upholsterers, not pulled from a container. No two orders are identical.

165-Pound Frame

Each recliner weighs over 165 lbs because the frame is built for continuous public use. It will not creak, rack or loosen after a few years of movie nights.

Wall-Hugger Power Recline

A German-engineered motor drives a wall-hugger mechanism, so rows can sit closer to the wall and recline silently without disturbing the person behind you.

Maximum-Resilience Foam

Premium seating foam built to hold its shape and support through years of use — soft enough to sink into, structured enough to keep you aligned through a three-hour film.

Ergonomics by a Chiropractor

Seat geometry was developed with Dr. Grant O'Neill, DC, to keep your spine in a natural posture during long viewing — the difference between comfortable at minute ten and comfortable at minute 150.

The Lineup

Six Series. Thousands of Combinations.

Pick a series, then tailor the arm style, backrest, leather or fabric, stitching, wood trim and accessories. We will walk you through the configurator or build the spec for you.

Signature Series

The flagship. Ergonomic profile developed with Dr. O'Neill for hours of support, with the widest choice of arms, backrests and options. Our default recommendation for dedicated cinemas.

Adaptive Series

Adds an adjustable headrest so the same chair fits a 5'2" and a 6'4" viewer equally well. Ideal for households and guest-heavy theaters where one size has to fit everyone.

Classic Series

Timeless, understated styling at the most accessible price in the Elite range — same frame, same motor, same 20-year warranty.

Madera Series

Authentic wood trim on the arms for a warmer, furniture-grade look that suits traditional and transitional interiors.

Reclining Chaise

Stretch out fully under a blanket. A lounger-style option for front rows, media rooms and anyone who watches movies lying down.

Theater Sectionals

Cuddle couches and modular sectionals for family rooms and front rows where you want relaxed, sofa-style seating with recliner mechanics underneath.

Ergonomic Design

Engineered for the Third Act.

Any chair feels good for ten minutes. Elite HTS seating is shaped to keep your body aligned and relaxed for the length of a film, a double-header or a full season binge. Five design points do the work:

  • Headrest positioned to support the head and neck without pushing the chin forward
  • Contoured side bolsters that cradle the torso so you are held, not perched
  • Angled lumbar support that preserves the natural curve of the lower spine
  • Arm height set for a relaxed elbow and forearm, not a shrug
  • Dual cushion system that spreads weight evenly and keeps pressure off the thighs
How We Work

Seating Is Part of the Room, Not an Afterthought.

Buying theater chairs online and hoping they fit is how rooms end up with blocked sightlines and a back row that cannot recline. We design the seating with the screen, the risers, the acoustics and the control system together.

01 · Configure the Chair

We help you choose the series, arm style, backrest, material and options — or hand you the online configurator and refine your build with you. Leather samples are available before you commit.

02 · Layout & Riser Plan

From your room dimensions we produce an optimized seating layout with row spacing, riser heights and sightline checks, so every seat sees the full screen and every row reclines fully.

03 · Integrate & Install

Seats arrive, we install and align them, then program seat lighting and recline positions into your Savant or Control4 scenes alongside lighting and shades.

Handcrafted Build

Five Stages. No Shortcuts.

Every Elite HTS order moves through design review, final specification, frame construction, hand upholstery and a multi-point inspection before it ships. That is why lead times run 16 to 20 weeks — and why the chairs are still right twenty years later.

We schedule the seating order early in the project so it lands the week the room is ready for it.

FAQ

Elite HTS Seating Questions, Answered.

How long does Elite HTS seating take to arrive?

Every chair is built to order, so plan on roughly 16 to 20 weeks from final specification to delivery, depending on the season and the size of the order. We fold that timeline into your overall theater schedule so the seats arrive when the room is ready for them, not before.

What does the Elite HTS warranty cover?

The frame, recline mechanism and motor carry a 20-year warranty. Upholstery and seating foam carry a 5-year warranty under normal use. Planet Geek handles any warranty coordination on your behalf.

Can I customize the chairs?

Yes. You choose the series, arm style, backrest, leather or fabric, stitching, wood trim, and options like storage, lighting, cup holders and tray tables. Customer-supplied material (COM) is available if your designer has a specific fabric in mind.

Do the seats work in a media room, or only a dedicated theater?

Both. Recliners work in a dedicated cinema, and the sectional and reclining chaise options are designed for family rooms and media rooms where the seating has to look like furniture, not a cinema row.

Will the seating integrate with my home automation?

Yes. We can tie seat lighting, cup-holder lighting and recline positions into a Savant or Control4 scene so a single "Movie" command dims the lights, lowers the shades and sets the room.

Where is Elite HTS seating made?

Elite HTS builds its seating in Las Vegas, Nevada and Vancouver, Canada. Nothing is mass produced overseas.
