Electronic Communications Consent and Opt-Out Policy

By providing a mobile telephone number or email address to Planet Geek LLC, the customer agrees that Planet Geek may use the information provided to communicate regarding inquiries, estimates, proposals, appointments, project scheduling, service updates, account notifications, invoices, payment reminders, warranty matters, and other communications related to the customer’s current or requested services.

Text Message Consent

By voluntarily providing a mobile telephone number and selecting the applicable consent option, the customer authorizes Planet Geek LLC to send text messages to that number. Messages may include appointment confirmations, arrival notifications, scheduling updates, project communications, service reminders, account notices, and, when separately authorized, promotional or marketing messages.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from Planet Geek LLC. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

Customers may withdraw consent to receive text messages at any time by replying:

STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE

Planet Geek will also honor any other clear written request indicating that the customer no longer wishes to receive text messages. After an opt-out request, Planet Geek may send one non-promotional message confirming that the request was received. No additional marketing text messages will be sent unless the customer later provides renewed consent.

Customers may reply HELP for assistance or contact Planet Geek directly using the contact information listed on its website or service documents.

Opting out of marketing text messages does not prevent Planet Geek from contacting the customer by other permitted methods regarding an active appointment, requested service, contractual obligation, account issue, payment matter, emergency, security-system notification, or other necessary service-related communication.

Email Consent

By providing an email address, the customer authorizes Planet Geek LLC to send transactional and service-related emails concerning inquiries, proposals, appointments, projects, invoices, account activity, warranties, and requested services.

When the customer separately agrees to receive promotional emails, Planet Geek may also send company news, service announcements, special offers, maintenance reminders, and other marketing communications.

Marketing emails will identify Planet Geek LLC as the sender and include a clear method for unsubscribing. Customers may opt out of marketing emails by:

• Selecting the Unsubscribe link included in the email;

• Replying to the email with “Unsubscribe”; or

• Contacting Planet Geek and requesting removal from marketing communications.

Planet Geek will process marketing email opt-out requests within the period required by applicable law. An unsubscribe request applies to promotional and marketing emails and does not prevent Planet Geek from sending transactional or relationship communications that are necessary to complete requested services, administer an existing account, provide warranty or safety information, collect amounts owed, or fulfill contractual responsibilities.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer represents that:

1. The telephone number and email address provided belong to the customer or the customer is authorized to provide them;

2. The information provided is accurate and current; and

3. The customer will notify Planet Geek if the telephone number or email address changes or is reassigned.

Privacy and Information Use

Planet Geek will use customer contact information for legitimate business communications and in accordance with its privacy practices. Planet Geek will not sell a customer’s consent to receive text messages or emails to unrelated third parties.

Service providers may process communications on Planet Geek’s behalf, including customer relationship management, scheduling, invoicing, email delivery, and text-messaging platforms. Those providers may use the information only as necessary to perform services for Planet Geek, subject to their applicable agreements and privacy obligations.

Consent Records

Planet Geek may retain records showing when, where, and how consent was provided, including the date, time, source, telephone number or email address, consent language presented, and any subsequent opt-out or renewed consent request.

Changes to Communication Preferences

Customers may update their communication preferences at any time by contacting Planet Geek LLC. Planet Geek may take reasonable steps to verify the identity and contact information of the person making the request.
