Can Savant be installed in an existing home?
Yes. New construction is the easiest time to run the low-voltage infrastructure Savant depends on, but Planet Geek regularly retrofits Savant into existing homes across the Phoenix Metro area, routing cabling through attics, walls and crawl spaces with minimal disruption to finished spaces.
Does Savant work with my existing devices?
Savant integrates with a wide range of third-party devices, including popular thermostats, motorized shades (including Draper), IP camera systems, smart locks, audio equipment and streaming services. Planet Geek evaluates your existing equipment during the consultation to determine what can be integrated and what might benefit from an upgrade.
What about Savant Power and solar?
Savant Power is Savant’s energy management platform, including smart breaker panel modules, battery storage and solar integration. Do I need to replace all my light switches?
